Kan is a five man band based in Fukuoka, playing a wide range of music, both covers and original. The line-up is as follows: fennel (singer), Sam (lead guitar), Waka (second guitar), Okazaki (bass) and Ito (drums). The first two are Oxford Unversity graduates on scholarship to Daiichi Kaizai University to learn Japanese. The next two are previous allumi of Daiichi, and the last is a current Daiichi student.

Kan's range of music is wide and ever growing. Our repertoire currently includes funk, jazz, blues, pop, rock, hiphop and rap. However there is a definite bias towards funk and what's affectionally termed "guitar wanking". Our range also includes songs of our construction, with most of the music coming from Sam and most of the lyrics from fennel.
